Scott E. Cordell joined Gungoll, Jackson, Box and Devoll, P.C. in January 2018 as an associate attorney. A native of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Scott graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2009 with B.A.’s in History, International Relations, and Latin American Studies. After teaching English in Chile for 6 months, Scott returned to Oklahoma and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma in 2013. While in law school, he served as a Research Editor of the American Indian Law Review. Prior to joining Gungoll, Jackson, Scott was a staff attorney for the Department of Environmental Quality and was a member of an Enid-based law firm.

Scott presently serves as a board member on the Young Lawyers Division of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Garfield County Bar Association Bylaws Committee, and the City of Enid Special Sales Tax Oversight Committee. He is a member of St. Gregory’s Catholic Church in Enid, Oklahoma.

In his spare time, Scott enjoys spending time with his family and friends, golfing, being outdoors and attending sporting events.
